Exhibition Games - Parent/Child Game
Parent / child games are NOT permitted because of insurance. Doesn't matter whether the Coach, Manager or a Parent rents the ice. The person signing the contract is liable in the event of an injury.
The undeniable truth is that in the event of a serious injury, where a Player, Parent or Coach suffers a "loss of income" for an extended period of time, everyone in the rink and on the ice gets sued.
The ODMHA insurance covers us for this type of accident, but the insurance coverage is null and void in Parent / Child or Coach / Child games (interpreted as Coaches versus Players) and if you booked the ice or you were playing in the game, you will be going to court.
