Forums - Overview
A forum is an online discussion group. The CMHA provides a variety of forums, in which participants with common interests can exchange open messages. Forums are sometimes called newsgroups (in the Internet world) or conferences. People can read the forum and if they have an opinion or comment, they can post a reply which will appear on the forum.
The CMHA forums were created as a result of feedback from coaches and parents requesting the ability to communicate with others in the association.
CMHA Forums
NOTE - These forums are under development. They should be back online mid-September.
- Hockey Equipment for Sale - For parents trying to sell used hockey equipment.
- Player Development Forum - For coaches to post ideas on developing their players. For example, practice drills using 1/2 surfaces and full ice surfaces.
- Team Manager Forum - For Team Managers and other team volunteers to discuss off-ice activities.
CMHA forums are monitored and maintained by the CMHA webmaster.
RSS News Feeds - Note that all of the above forums support RSS news feed capability. If you configure your email client software (i.e. Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird) with the RSS link shown at the bottom of each forum, then you'll receive an email each time someone posts a message to that forum.
