After a win against Nepean, a tie against Ottawa West, and very hard fought loss against Arnprior/Renfrew, we moved on to the semi-finals, where we defeated Ottawa West. Then it was on to face Arnprior/Renfrew again, where we avenged a 3-0 loss with a 5-2 victory, to win the tournament!

Hockeyville in 2010 - It could be Navan
| A few parents in the community have registered the Navan Memorial Centre in the Kraft Hockeyville 2010 contest. If Navan wins, the arena would receive $100,000 for upgrades.
In 2008, some renovations were made to the arena but definitely more upgrades could be done to this aging building. An NHL game would also be played in the arena in the fall of 2010. Aside from our involvement with our own kids and this arena, we know of many other kids in the area that have been to the Navan arena with their family to either play hockey, skate during public skating or watch a Junior "A" Grads Game. Your support to the quest for the Hockeyville title would definitely be greatly appreciated by players of all ages!
At this time, anyone wanting to help should do the following before January 18th, 2010:
They will judge our hockey community on the following criteria: community spirit, passion for hockey and originality- the reason we are Kraft Hockeyville 2010. Young and old can submit a story. Of course, the more stories the better the chances we have of being one of the twelve finalists. Deadline to submit a story is January 18th, 2010.
Please join us by submitting a story. I know this community is passionate about hockey!
Please view the submitted stories about the Navan Memorial Centre here.... http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/hockeyville/community/227/en/
Let's show our hockey community spirit by bringing Kraft Hockeyville 2010 to Navan!
