A, B and C Levels
The Novice, Atom and Peewee Divisions are tiered into A, B and C levels (i.e. Novice A, Novice B and Novice C). The Bantam and Midget Divisions are tiered into A and B levels. In September, your child will be evaluated on the ice and based on their ability, placed into one of these three levels. This is done to group kids with the same skill level together. "A" level is for players with advanced hockey skills while "C" is for players who are just starting to learn or need improvement in certain hockey skills.
No Body Contact
Checking is NOT allowed in the CMHA, but is allowed in the competitive Cumberland Junior Grads association.
